2010 Foraging Adventures
These are wild edible and medicinal plant identification walks; gathering can be done where permitted. Walks are generally scheduled to take place on organic farms in the Central NY area.
There is a fee of $10/per adult. Children under 18 are free, when accompanied by an adult.
Sunday, May 16, from 1 to 3PM: Butternut Creek Recreation and Nature area, Town of Dewitt--meet to the rear of the parking lot, far left side of Wegmans, as you're facing it from Rte 5 (E. Genesee St.).
Saturday, June 19, from 10 to 12PM--Wyllie Farm, Cato (Cancelled)
Sunday, July 11, from 10 to 12PM--TBA
Erie Canal: Burdick St. entrance, in Dewitt. Meet in the parking lot.
